Stephanie M. "Stacia" Dabrowski

Stephanie M. "Stacia" Dabrowski, 86, of 2 Cross St. died Sunday morning at Williamstown Commons. Born in Adams on June 21, 1918, daughter of Wojciech and Apolonia Lesniewska Banas, she attended Adams schools. Mrs. Dabrowski was employed for several years at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates, the former Pownal (Vt.) Tanning Co., and the former Pfister Aluminum Corp. and former Sprague Electric Co., both in North Adams. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and participating in friendship circles. Her husband, William J. Dabrowski, whom she married Nov. 29, 1947, died Dec. 19, 1993. She leaves a daughter, Irene Dabrowski of Staten Island, N.Y.; a son, Edwin Dabrowski of Littlefield, Texas, and a granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Stephanie M. "Stacia" Dabrowski, who died Oct. 3, 2004, will be Saturday, Oct. 9, at 9 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of St. Stanislaus Kostka and Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7. Members of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality will meet at the funeral home Friday at 3:45 to pay their respects and recite the rosary. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka School through the funeral home. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Teresa; a granddaughter, Stephanie Irene Dabrowski, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Matthew Banas, and her sisters, Blanche Strek, Jessie Korzendorfer and Wanda Wlodyka.
