W. Thomas Bonn Jr., 74, of 2411 John Henry Drive, Spring Township, Pa., formerly of Lee, died April 8 at ManorCare Health Services Inc. in Spring Township, where he had resided since Sept. 28. He was a former Lee selectman. Born in Weehawken, N.J., on Dec. 23, 1926, son of Wesley T. and Cecilia Birnbaum Bonn, he graduated from Fort Lee (N.J.) High School and the New York State Maritime Academy. He also attended Stevens Institute of Technology and Columbia University in New York City. Mr. Bonn was employed as mill manager and personnel manager for Peter Schweitzer Corp. in New Jersey and Massachusetts for 26 years, retiring as purchasing manager in 1981. He left Lee in 1969. He leaves his wife, the former Mary C. Salzman; two sons, John H. Bonn of Stevenson, Md., and Wesley T. Bonn III of Shillington, Pa.; a daughter, Leslie B. Bonn Westman of Allentown, Pa., and six grandchildren. Services will be private. KLEE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Shillington, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
