Kathleen T. Burke, 91, of Moody Point, Wells, Maine, died yesterday at York (Maine) Hospital. She was the mother of Raymond V. Burke of Lee. Born in Lawrence on May 26, 1913, daughter of Dennis and Rosetta O'Connell Connelly, she graduated from Johnson High school in North Andover. She also graduated in 1935 from St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in Lowell. A registered nurse, Mrs. Burke worked in the Lawrence area for many years. She retired as a school nurse in the North Andover school system. Her husband, Raymond J. Burke, whom she married Aug. 17, 1941, is deceased. Besides her son, she leaves a daughter, Kathleen A. Burke of Wells, with whom she resided; a sister, Justine Sanborn of Lawrence, and a granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The Funeral Mass for Kathleen T. Burke, who died Nov. 3, 2004, will be Saturday at 10 at St. Michael's Church, North Andover. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 at DEWHIRST & CONTE FUNERAL HOME, 17 Third St., North Andover. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wells/Ogunquit Senior Center, Route One, Wells, Maine 04090, Attn: Jean Tilleson, Director. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Kerry, and granddaughter, Maura Jean Kelly, both of Lee. She was predeceased by her brothers Dennis, John and Daniel Connelly, and her sisters Mary Collins, Helen Shyne, Rosetta Farragher, Frances Walsh and Anna Golden.
