Pamela Jean Leonard

Pamela Jean Leonard, 58, of 52 Emily Lane, Northampton, died Monday after a long illness. She was the mother of Kevin Leonard of Hancock. Born in Providence, R.I., on Feb. 16, 1946, daughter of Isabelle Taylor Hunters of Greenville, R.I., and the late George Hunters, she was a 1963 graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket, R.I., and received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Northeastern University in 1971. She enjoyed knitting, painting, beading, reading and cooking, and spending summers at the family beach house in Matunuck, R.I. Besides her mother and son, she leaves her husband, George Leonard; another son, Casey Leonard of Portland, Maine, and a granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Pamela J. Leonard died Dec. 6, 2004. A celebration of her life will take place Friday, Dec. 10, at AHEARN FUNERAL HOME, 783 Bridge Road, Northampton. Visitors will be received at 10:30, and the celebration will begin at 11. Following the celebration, friends are invited to join the family for a reception at Union Station, 125 Pleasant St., Northampton. Memorial donations may be made to Lilly Library, 19 Meadow St., Florence, Ma. 01062. Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Lisa of Portland and Rebecca of Hancock, and a granddaughter, Isabelle Leonard of Hancock.
