Josephine L. Ragusa, 74, of 22 Little John Road died Sunday at home. Born in Queens, N.Y., on July 1, 1930, daughter of Eugene and Erminia Vairo Bianco, she was a 1948 graduate of Central Needle Trade High School in New York. She moved to Becket in 1974. Mrs. Ragusa worked in the garment industry in Central Islip, N.Y. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, old movies, music and telling stories of her childhood. Her husband, Anthony T. Ragusa, whom she married Jan 28, 1951, died March 24, 1999. She leaves a son, Thomas A. Ragusa of East Otis; three daughters, Linda F. Davis Gifford of Chester, Kathie Ragusa Hallock of West Stockbridge and Janet E. Ragusa of Florence; a sister, Florence Berta of Tom's River, N.J., and six grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Josephine L. Ragusa, who died Dec. 19, 2004, will be Wednesday at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in North Becket Cemetery. Visiting hours will be today, Dec. 21, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Thurber. She leaves her loving grandchildren, Susan, Michael Richard, William, Ian and Kristina.
