Caryl M. Adams

Caryl M. Adams, 69, of 564 Wade Inn Road died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Hartford, Conn., on April 20, 1935, daughter of Ruth Coyle Millard Reynolds and the late Charles H. Millard, she was a 1954 graduate of Hartford High School. She also had lived in Farmington, Conn., and the state of Florida before moving to Becket in 1999. Mrs. Adams was employed as a secretary for the American Red Cross in Farmington for 10 years, retiring in 1993. She also had worked in administration at Hartford Hospital for several years. She was a member of First Congregational Church and enjoyed knitting, reading and flower gardening. Besides her mother, of Hartford, she leaves her husband, R. Michael Adams; a stepson, Michael S.D. Adams of Plainville, Conn.; a stepdaughter, Victoria P. Kobialka of Southington, Conn., and four grandchildren. Her son, Robert Delaney Jr., died Feb. 27, 2003. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Caryl M. Adams, who died Dec. 21, 2004 will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorials donations may be made to Congregational Church in Becket or to the American Red Cross, both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield 01201, which is handling arrangements.
