Cheryl A. Kaley

Cheryl A. Kaley, 41, of Silver Street died yesterday at home after a long illness. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., on Oct. 1, 1963, daughter of Lee and Patricia Elger Martin of Bennington, she was educated there. Mrs. Kaley was a homemaker. She was also an avid fan of both NASCAR and football. Besides her parents, she leaves her son, Zachary A. Andrews of Bennington; a niece, Sheryl A. Tiley, from whom Cheryl received a kidney in April 2002; a sister, Lori J. Tilly-Wilkins of Pownal; three stepsisters, Sharon Stubbs, Shauna Spiewak and Tracy Martin, all of Pittsfield, and a stepbrother, Timothy Martin of Schenectady, N.Y. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Cheryl Kaley will be Monday, Dec. 27, from the MAHAR & SON FUNERAL HOME at 7 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until the time of the service. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to her son, Zachary J. Andrews or to the National Kidney Foundation through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington, VT 05201. Cheryl's family, friends and home were her main interest in life. She will always be with those who loved her in a very special way. She leaves her son, Zachary, whom she loved more than life itself; her brother-in-law, Mark Wilkins; and very dear friends, especially her best friend Angela Sargood, and her children Chelsea and Justin; also Frances Devenow and all of her family.
