James Edward Johnson

James Edward Johnson, 60, of 321 Salisbury Road died Saturday at Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Sheffield on May 23, 1944, he was the son of Harold R. and Evelyn L. Vickers Johnson. He enjoyed birds and music. He leaves a brother, William Johnson of Ashley Falls, and four sisters, Evelyn Fowlkes of Lakeville, Conn., Jennie James of Pittsfield, and Catherine Allen and Hattie Johnson, both of Sheffield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for James E. Johnson, who died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Expressions of sympathy in James' memory may be made to the Southern Berkshire Volunteer Squad c/o BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230, which is in charge of arrangements.
