Flora A. Ellsworth

Flora A. Ellsworth, 71, of Bancroft Road died Monday at home. Born in Saugus on March 9, 1930, daughter of Venice Madru Rock of Becket and the late Henry Rock Sr., she had resided in Becket for 52 years, moving there from the town of Washington. A homemaker, she was a communicant of St. Thomas' Church in Huntington. Besides her mother, she leaves her husband of 52 years, Robert S. Ellsworth; three sons, Robert C. Ellsworth of Lake Placid, Fla., Raymond A. Ellsworth of Sunderland and Ronald J. Ellsworth of Becket; three brothers, Henry Rock Jr. of Middlefield, Joseph Rock of Lee and Louis Rock of Becket; three sisters, Mary Jane Methe of Washington, and Mar-garet "Peggy" Lynch and Cecelia Rock, both of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9 from the O'BRIEN HILLTOWN COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME in Huntington, followed by services in St. Thomas' Church at 10 a.m. in Huntington, with burial in Becket Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 at the O'Brien Hilltown Community Funeral Home in Huntington. Donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 369 South St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. She was predeceased by a brother, John Rock, and a sister, Theresa Flynn.
