Heidi Carla Coburn, 40, of Monson, Maine, formerly of Otis,died Feb. 2 at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Born on Jan. 7, 1965, in Bitburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Richard and Virginia Minery Coburn of Monson,former longtime residents of Shaw Pond in Otis. Miss Coburn resided at the Abbot House in Abbot, Maine, for nine years. Abbot House is a residential home for the handicapped. Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, Richard and Benjamin Coburn, both of Monson; two sisters, Lorrie Sears of Carson City, Nev., and Monson, and Avis Filiault of Auburn, Maine. FUNERAL NOTICE -- In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Abbot House c/o Charlotte White, P.O. Box 141, Abbot, ME 04406. Graveside services will be held in the spring. Arrangements by BOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Island Falls, Maine. She shall and will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends. She also leaves aunts and uncles, including Josephine Blanchard of Dalton, Erving and Nancy of Otis, and Robert of Sandisfield. A special thanks to the staff of Abbot House for their care and compassion.
