Muriel R. "Mike" Gordon, 82, of Muirfield Drive died Tuesday evening at home. Born in New York City on Oct. 14, 1922, daughter of David and Louisa Danish, she attended New York schools and Beaver College in Glenside, Pa. She lived in Hewlett Harbor, N.Y., and spent weekends in Lenox since 1989, until moving here permanently in 1994. Mrs. Gordon did volunteer work with various Jewish organizations in New York, traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoyed reading, movies and art. Her husband, Gerson G. Gordon, whom she married Oct. 4, 1942, died Feb. 9, 2003. She leaves a son, Robert D. Gordon of Atlanta, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Mrs. Muriel R. Gordon died peacefully at her home Tuesday evening, Feb. 8, 2005. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, Feb. 11, at 11 at Westchester Hills Cemetery in Hastings on Hudson, N.Y. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Gordon enjoyed most of all spending time with her family and friends. She also leaves two beloved grandsons, David Gordon and his wife, Michelle, and Daniel Gordon and his wife, Jessica; and was the proud great-grandmother of Spencer.
