ANNA M. WICH

Anna M. Wich , 96, formerly of 4 Wahconah Heights, died Monday, Dec. 18, at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided for the past 5 years. Born in Hungary, Sept. 15, 1904, the daughter of the late John & Mary Foster, she came to Pittsfield at the age of 5. She attended Pittsfield schools. A homemaker, she enjoyed flower gardening and reading. She was a communicant of St. Charles Church. Her husband, Wilfred R. Wich died in 1976. She is survived by 3 daughters: Mrs. Barbara M. Stuart of East Lansing, MI, and Twins: Mrs. Elizabeth A. Mattison of Hinsdale and Mrs. Cynthia A. Todd of Pittsfield, a son: Wilfred R. Wich, Jr. of Pittsfield, 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Anna M. Wich who died Dec. 18, 2000 will be Friday at 9:30 AM from the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Charles Church at 10:00 celebrated by Rev. Peter Gregory, Pastor. Burial will follow in St Joseph’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army in care of the Derv Funeral Home.
