Barbara Ann Dickinson

Barbara Ann Dickinson, 53, of 39 Navajo Drive died early Saturday morning at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. Born in Adams on Oct. 23, 1951, daughter of Donald F. Briggs Sr. and Loraine Baker Briggs, she attended schools there. Mrs. Dickinson was employed by Goodwill Industries for several years until ill health forced her retirement in 2000. She also worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for seven years and at Commonwealth Sprague Corp. for eight years. She and her husband, Dennis A. Dickinson Sr., were married July 2, 1993, in Stamford, Vt. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Kelly A. Buff of West Springfield; a son, Michael D. Wandrei of Windsor; a stepson, Dennis A. Dickinson Jr. of Peabody, and a brother, Donald F. Briggs Jr. of Windsor. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours for Barbara Ann Briggs Dickinson on Wednesday from 5 to 7 at AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. A Private Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Stanislaus Kostka. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Right to Life through the funeral home.
