Dorothy E. Farrington

Dorothy E. Farrington, 98, of 40 Sunset Ave., formerly of Turnure Terrace, died Thursday at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center. Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 21, 1906, daughter of Harry and Mary Watkins Joyner, she grew up in Lenox and was educated there. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Willard H. Farrington, died in 1953. She leaves a brother, J. Edgar Joyner of Jacksonville, Fla. She was predeceased by a son, Willard H. Farrington, who died Sept. 23, 2000. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Dorothy requested that she be cremated and that her remains be interred in Mountain View Cemetery in Lenox. Friends wishing may make donations to the Trinity Episcopal Church in Lenox or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. She leaves her daughter-in-law, Rita Farrington of Brooksville, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
