Roy Boesse

Roy Boesse, 94, formerly of Bradford Street, died Sunday at Hillcrest Commons, where he had resided for more than 3 years. Born in Berlin, N.Y., on Jan. 11, 1911, son of Everett Boesse and Edna Boesse Boesse Daniels, he attended schools there. Mr. Boesse had been employed as a dishwasher at the Court Square Luncheonette for many years. Earlier, he had worked at the former Wyandotte Woolen Mills. He was a member of Pilgrim Memorial Church. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, especially at parties. He leaves several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Roy Boesse, who died March 13, 2005, will be conducted Thursday, March 24, at 3 at Pilgrim Memorial Church by the Rev. Cory Loder, pastor. Burial will be in Cheshire Cemetery at a later date. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to Pilgrim Memorial Church in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
