Rudolph Clary, 78, of Valley Drive, Roanoke Rapids, N.C., a former resident of Pittsfield, died Saturday at home. Born in Roanoke Rapids on Dec. 14, 1926, son of Thomas E. and Annie Mills Clary, he graduated from high school there. He had resided in Pittsfield for many years. Mr. Clary was employed by Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Lee as a maintenance supervisor. He leaves his wife, the former Doris Reaves; three daughters, Gayle O'Brien of Pittsfield, Carol C. Ottina of Rochester, N.Y., and Judy Roberts of Spartanburg, S.C.; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Rudolph Clary, who died March 26, 2005, will be tomorrow, March 29, at 2 at New Testament Christian Church in Roanoke Rapids. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends today, March 28, from 7 to 8:30 at MASSEY FUNERAL HOME, 839 Jackson St., Roanoke Rapids, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
