KATHERINE B. McNEICE

Katherine B. McNeice, 90, of Rose Manor Pittsfield, died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Pittsfield, Dec. 19, 1909, the daughter of the late Mark and Ann (Coughter) Bourne. She resided in Lenox until moving to Pittsfield in 1927. She was a 1927 graduate of Lenox High School and a 1928 graduate of the former Berkshire Business College. She had been employed as an inspector at the former Berkshire Woolen Mill for 18 years and prior to that she had worked as a secretary for the former Elmvale-Worsted Co. She was a communicant of St. Charles Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was married to Vincent T. McNeice on Oct. 23, 1932. He died Feb. 16 1980. She is survived by 2 sons, James W. McNeice of Naples, FL, Brother Savio McNeice of the Franciscan Order of Friars of the Atonement, Boston, a daughter, Mrs. Ann L. Costanzo of Pittsfield, a sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Coleman of Worcester, .MA, 11 Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Katherine B. McNeice, who died Dec. 18, 2000 will be held Thursday Dec. 21, at 9:15 AM from the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Charles Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Josephâ€™s Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Fransiscan Order of the Friars of the Atonement in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA.
