Lorraine Reardon

Lorraine A. "Nannie" Reardon, 79, of 17 Bridge St. died Monday at home. Born in Pittsfield on July 22, 1921, daughter of George W. and Alice Seckington Sawyer, she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She had resided in Lanesboro since 1951. A homemaker, she was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church in Dalton. She also was a lifelong Democrat. Her husband, James M. Reardon, whom she married Sept. 15, 1951, died Sept. 9, 1980. She leaves a daughter, Alice M. Jester of Dalton; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, at 8:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Agnes' Church in Dalton, celebrated by the Rev. John A. Koonz, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
