Edward Brian Tetreault

Edward Brian Tetreault, 47, of 37 South St. died early Tuesday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital, the victim of an assault. Born in Amesbury on July 14, 1957, a son of Edward Tetreault of Salisbury and the late Priscilla Tetreault, he graduated from high school there. He had lived in Washington, D.C., and Cambridge before moving to North Adams 14 years ago. Mr. Tetreault had worked as a handyman and in maintenance, and was last employed at the Brayton Hill complex for about a year. While in Washington, he had delivered mail in the Senate. He attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed camping and hiking. He had back-packed across the country. Besides his father, he leaves his fiancée, Emily Moreno; five sisters, Theresa Labreque of Brewster, Mary Lavalley of Merrimack, Debbie Bowley of Exeter, N.H., and Rebecca Tetreault and Michelle Tetreault, both of Dover, N.H. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Edward Tetreault, who died April 5, 2005, will be conducted tomorrow, April 8, at 2 at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph DeCosta, pastor. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, which is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his brother-in-law, Charles Lavalley, and nieces and nephews.
