Frances Harrison

Frances Elizabeth Harrison, 68, of 27 East St. died Wednesday at home. Born in Adams on Sept. 27, 1932, daughter of John and Anna Gwozdz Kordana, she graduated from the former Adams High School. She also graduated from the former Holy Ghost Hospital School of Nursing in Cambridge. A registered nurse, Mrs. Harrison was employed by Berkshire Medical Center and Springside Nursing Home, both in Pittsfield, for many years. She later worked as a private-duty nurse until retiring several years ago. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She leaves her husband, Charles R. Harrison, whom she married June 17, 1961; two daughters, Jean A. Harrison of Lynnfield and Joan K. Mulvaney of Holliston; a sister, Jane Wesolowski of Holden, and three grandchildren. The funeral for Frances Elizabeth Harrison will be Saturday morning at 9:15 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. John C. Chwalek, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
