Mary G. Trzcinski

Mary G. Trzcinski, 91, of 1 Berkshire Square died early yesterday morning at Williamstown Commons. Born in Adams on Dec. 10, 1913, daughter of Stanislaw and Apolonia Zabik Romaniak, she was a 1932 graduate of the former Adams High School. Mrs. Trzcinski was employed in the composing room at the North Adams Transcript for 20 years, retiring in 1975. She had first worked for her father's business, the former White Eagle Printing Co., for several years and, during World War II, was a printer for the U.S. Department of Commerce for several years in Washington. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of American Legion Post 160 Auxiliary, the Polish National Alliance and the St. Michael's Society. Her husband, Anthony Trzcinski, whom she married Sept. 2, 1946, died Feb. 17, 1994. She leaves several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mary G. Trzcinski, who died May 21, 2005, will be Tuesday, May 24, at 9:30 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of St. Stanislaus Kostka and Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Mrs. Trzcinski is survived by her godchild, Barbara Couture of Adams, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The last of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her brothers Stanley, Ernest, Andrew and John Romaniak, and by her sisters Josephine Romaniak and Frances Dydowicz. Memorial donations may be made to the Williamstown Commons Patient Activities Fund through the funeral home.
