Joseph Bormolini

Joseph J. Bormolini, 69, of Stockbridge Road and Brookville, Fla., died May 16 at home in Brookville. Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 21, 1931, son of Guiseppi and Anna Bonfato Bormolini, he attended West Stockbridge schools. He served in the Army from 1955 to 1957. Mr. Bormolini was a self-employed contractor for several years, retiring in 1998. He also worked as a chef at Eastover Resort Inc. in Lenox for several years. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of the West Stockbridge American Legion. While in Florida, he was involved with the Cloverleaf Clowns, a park group of clowns that visited area nursing homes, schools and parades. He leaves a brother, John A. Bormolini of Levenworth, Kan. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery in West Stockbridge, conducted by the Rev. Steven McGuigan, pastor of St. Patrick's Church. There will be a announced Mass for Mr. Bormolini on Saturday, June 2, at 4 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cloverleaf Clowns in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
