Doris Mae Price

Doris Mae Price, 89, of 2691 Marview Road, Columbus, Ohio, a former resident of Adams, died Tuesday, May 31, at home. She moved to Columbus in 1980 to live with her son, William Price. Born in Adams on Aug. 18, 1915, daughter of William and Madge Walker Voigt, she attended local schools. Mrs. Price was a homemaker. Her husband, Henry F.N. "Red" Price, died Aug. 30, 1991. Besides her son, she leaves two daughters, Betty Lou Diesz of Adams and Nancy A. Sweeney of Blacklick, Ohio; a brother, Williard "Bud" Voigt of Warwick, R.I.; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Another son, Richard B. Price, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Doris Mae Price will be conducted Saturday at 11 at MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Liberty St., Adams, by the Rev. Donald E. Gray, pastor of First Baptist Church. Calling hours will be tomorrow, June 3, from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. She leaves a daughter-in-law, Gladwyn; two sons-in-law, Carl Sweeney and Alfred Diesz; and grandchildren, Kevin and Heather Sweeney, Christopher Diesz, Melissa Diesz Tremblay, Maggie Diesz Touponce and Justin Price. A brother, William "Bill" Voigt, is deceased.
