LISA JOY COMPAGNARO

Lisa Joy Campagnaro, 40, of Hurlburt Road, Great Barrington, died Tuesday, December 19, 2000 at Butternut Basin Ski Area. Born on April 30, 1960 in Boston, MA she was the daughter of Maxine Siverman and Allen D. Kaufman. She was educated in Boston and Florida schools and was a graduate of the Coral Gables High School, She went on to graduated from the Russell Sage College of Nursing in Albany, NY with BS in Nursing. She married her husband, Christopher Campagnaro, on July 7, 2000 in Refuge Bay, British Columbia, Canada. Lisa enjoyed, with her husband, skiing, [both back country and telemark] , rock climbing, alpine climbing, sea kayaking, cycling, in line skating, and soccer. She was also a trained and accomplished equestrian. Mrs. Campagnaro was employed as charge nurse at Noble Horizons Nursing Home in Salisbury, CT. Also as a nurse one day a week at Berkshire School and was a popular Personal Trainer and Fitness coach with her own business “Focus on Fitness”. Lisa also worked with her husband with their other business “ Berkshire Mountain Sports”. Lisa Joy Campaganaro is survived by her husband, Christopher, at home; her two beautiful young ladies, Cerise and Shira; her mother Maxine Wiener, of Sewells Point, FL; her father, Allen Kaufman, of Maui, HI; her sister Lauren Haynee, of Orlando, FL; her grand parents, Herb and Francis Silverman. of Del Ray Beach, FL; and Christopher’s parent’s Victor and Murial Campagnaro, of Guelph, Ont.. Canada. Funeral services for Lisa Joy Campagnaro will be held Saturday, December 24, 2000 at one p.m., at the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, with Rabbi Deborah Zecker, Spiritual Leader of Hevarah of Southern Berkshire, officiating. There are no calling hours. Those that desire may make memorial contributions in Lisa Joy Campagnaro’s memory to Noble Horizon’s, Outing Fund or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230.
