Janette L. Anderson, 70, of 16 North Summer St. died Wednesday at North Adams Commons, where she had resided since July 22. Born in Adams on Oct. 20, 1934, daughter of Joseph A. and Norma Mazur Mordeszewski, she attended St. Stanislaus' School and the former C.T. Plunkett Junior High School. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Anderson was a cook at the Polish National Alliance Club. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Parishes of Adams and a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church. Her first husband, Charles Lincoln, is deceased. Her husband, George P. Anderson Sr., also is deceased. She leaves two sons, George P. Anderson Jr. and Charles C. Anderson, both of Adams; two daughters, Patricia A. Scieszka and Gail M. Utter, both of Adams; two stepdaughters, Rosemarie DiLego of Lanesborough and Lynn E. Hayden; a brother, Joseph Mordeszewski of Torrington, Conn.; 18 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A funeral for Janette Mordeszewski Anderson in the Roman Catholic tradition will be offered Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at noon at MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Liberty St. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday from 9 to 11 at the funeral home.
