Geraldine Lemoine

Geraldine Lemoine, 80, of 18 Reeves St. died yesterday at home. Born in North Adams on June 9, 1925, daughter of Homer and Alice LeBlanc Belanger, she attended Adams schools and was a 1944 graduate of the former St. Anne's Academy in Marlboro and a 1947 graduate of the former St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsfield. Mrs. Lemoine worked for many years at the former W.B. Plunkett Memorial Hospital and then was director of the Adams Visiting Nurse Association. She retired in 1986. She was a member of the St. Luke's Alumni Association and a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas. Her husband, Felix Lemoine, whom she married Oct. 2, 1948, died Dec. 22, 1985. She leaves two daughters, Joan Middlebrook and Janice Bury, both of Adams, and five grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Geraldine Lemoine will be Monday at 9 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at Notre Dame Church in Adams celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Community of Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 4 to 7. Donations in her memory may be made to Notre Dame and St. Thomas Parish or Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home. Mrs. Lemoine also leaves two sons-in-law, Dana Middlebrook and Donald Bury, both of Adams; five grandchildren, Timothy Middlebrook of San Diego, Kimberly Boulais of Pittsfield, and Marie, Gregory and Olivia Bury, all of Adams. She was a very devoted grandmother.
