Angelina M. Ciaburri, 89, of 4301 Rabbit Foot Lane. Richmond, Va., formerly of North Adams, died on Wednesday at the Lexington Court Nursing Home in Richmond, VA. Born in North Adams on Aug. 25, 1916, daughter of Antonio and Pasqualina Lampiasi Girgenti, she attended schools there. Mrs. Ciaburri was employed at the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. A lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, she was a past Madam President. She also served the Eagles at the state level, holding several offices, including president. Her husband, Michael Ciaburri, whom she married Aug. 16, 1964, died April 12, 1988. She leaves a son, Harvey "Tony" DeGrenier of Richmond, Va., with whom she made her home; a stepson, Michael Ciaburri of Pittsfield; a sister, Josephine Sacco of North Adams; a brother, Alfio Girgenti of North Adams; a grandson, step-grandson and a great-grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Angelina Ciaburri will be Monday, Sept. 12, 2005 at 8:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 4 to 7. Donations may be made to Basilique Saint Anne de Beaupre at 10018 Avenue Royale, Saint Anne-de-Beaupre, Quebec City, Canada G0A 3C0 in care of the funeral home. Survivors include a grandson, Antonio P. DeGrenier, and a great-grandson, Zachery A. DeGrenier, whose father was her grandson, Steven DeGrenier, who died March 23, 2004. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
