Arnold Lloyd Garber

Arnold Lloyd Garber, 76, formerly of Tyringham Road, died Thursday, Sept. 15, in Boynton Beach, Fla. He had recently moved to Boynton Beach after living in Monterey since 1975. Born in New York City on March 1, 1929, son of Harry and Selma Loria Garber, he attended schools there. Mr. Garber retired in 1988 as president of Intimate Apparel Industry, where he began as a shipping clerk. He was a longtime member of Stockbridge Golf Club and the Berkshire Seniors Golf League. He and his wife, the former Janet Gottlieb, were married in 1969. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Holly Garten of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and Jill Gordon of Rumson, N.J.; a sister, Shirley Eisenstein of Malverne, N.Y., and five grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Garber, Arnold L., formerly of Monterey, died Sept. 15, 2005 in Boynton Beach, Fla. Survived by his wife, Janet Gottlieb Garber; daughters, Holly Garten and Jill Gordon and her husband, Dr. Eric Gordon, six grandchildren, Jamie [Josh] Haber, Stefanie and Michael Garten, Evan, Allison and Danielle Gordon, and many nieces and nephews.
