Nancy A. Swanson

Nancy A. Swanson, 48, of 85 Third St. died Monday at the home of her friends, 270 West St. Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 15, 1953, daughter of Joseph and Antoinette Capitanio Grizey, she attended local schools. Mrs. Swanson was employed in housekeeping for various hotels, including the Crowne Plaza. She enjoyed animals. Besides her parents of Pittsfield, she leaves two sons, Christopher A. Fosty of Pittsfield and Skyler J. Swanson of Dalton; a daughter, Aubrey A. Swanson of Dalton; a brother, Clinton Grizey of Pittsfield, and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Following cremation, burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements.
