Brian Winthrop Cunningham, 25, of 20 Profile St., died Tuesday evening as a result of injuries sustained in an accidental fall at an old quarry in Cheshire. Born in Pittsfield on March 17, 1976, son of Bruce W. and Janet F. Sigsworth Cunningham, he was a 1995 graduate of Mount Greylock Regional High School. He also graduated from the All State School of Technology with a journeyman electrician's license. He served in the Marine Corps. He was employed as an assembler at Poly-Matrix in Pittsfield for the past year and a half. Mr. Cunningham enjoyed outdoor sports, including scuba diving, boating and hiking. Besides his parents, of Lanesboro, he leaves a sister, Pamela Babcock of Clarksburg; and his maternal grandmother, Janet Sigsworth of Great Barrington. Services will be Friday at 2 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. William D. Furey officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Lanesboro. Calling hours will be Friday from noon until 2 at the Dery Funeral Home. If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lanesboro Playground Fund in care of the Dery Funeral Home.
