MARY S. (SPADACCINI) MACKOUL

Mary S. (Spadaccini) Mackoul, 76, of 14 Cooper Rd., Great Barrington, died December 24, 2000 at Fairview Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 1 of 10 children of Peter and Asunata(Tori) Spadaccini. Born in Great Barrington on November 7, 1924. She attended the former Searles High School and worked at the former Monument Mills and the former Great Barrington Manufacturing Company. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church, was a former Cubscout leader, and enjoyed knitting, cooking, and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Francis 'Frank' Machoul, whom she married in Corpus Christi Church on November 24, 1949. 1 son, Garry of Brewster, 1 daughter, Deborah 'Debbie' Ball of Great Barrington, 1 brother Natalie 'Ned' of Housatonic, 1 sister Edith Lis of Great Barrington, 3 grandchildren, Megan Ball, Dylan Mackoul and Kevin Mackoul, and a beloved sister-in-law and friend Rena Spadaccini, many nieces and nephews. She was predeased by 4 brothers, Louis, Quinten, Joseph, and Peter Spadaccini. Funeral Services for Mary (Spadaccini) Mackoul, 76, who died December 24, 2000, will be Wednesday, December 27, 2000 at 10 AM at the Hickey-Roy Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Jutt, pastor of Corpus Christi Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Family will receive family and friends, Wednesday, December 27, 2000 from 9 AM to 10 AM. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Corpus Christi Building Fund or to the Southern Berkshire Volunteetr Ambulance Squad C/O the Hickey-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
