Sylvia Paradis

Sylvia Paradis, 93, of 17 Forest Park Ave. died Wednesday evening at the Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown. Born in Adams on July 6, 1907, daughter of William H. and Mary L. Seymour Paradis, she attended Adams schools and graduated from the former Adams High School in 1925. She graduated from the former Boston Bourne School of Physical Education in Boston in 1932 and from Boston University in 1941. Mrs. Paradis taught physical education in the Adams school system for 35 years, retiring in 1971. She was a communicant of the Parish Notre Dame Des Sept Douluers and St. Thomas Aquinas. She leaves nieces and nephews. A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Sylvia Paradis will take place Saturday, June 9, at 1 p.m. in Notre Dame Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in Maple Street Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
