Nancy Pshenishny

Nancy Marie Pshenishny, 49, of West Center Road died Saturday at Rutland (Vt.) Regional Medical Center as a result of a motorcycle accident in Wallingford, Vt.An emergency medical technician for more than 10 years, she was the training officer for the West Stockbridge Rescue Squad Born in Binghampton, N.Y., on May 17, 1952, daughter of Richard A. and Frances V. Latham, she attended schools in Ledyard, Conn., and graduated from Ledyard High School. She also attended Berkshire Community College. Mrs. Pshenishny was employed by the Pittsfield branch of Smart Corp., a medical records copying and distributing service, for 10 years. For the past year, she had worked in the medical records department at Berkshire Medical Center. She was a member and past treasurer of West Stockbridge Congregational Church. She enjoyed gardening, decorative painting and crafts, camping and touring. She also made and sold pierced lampshades. She and her husband, James Pshenishny were married Sept. 21, 1974, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Stockbridge. Besides her husband and parents, of Palm Harbor, Fla., she leaves two sons, Michael and Steven Pshenishny, both at home. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at 10 at West Stockbridge Congregational Church in West Stockbridge by the Rev. Esther Chappuis. Burial will follow in West Stockbridge Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends tomorrow from 4 to 8 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, Great Barrington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael and Steven Pshenishny Educational Fund in care of the funeral home, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA, 01230.
