Paul C. Soldato

Paul C. Soldato, 54, of 35 Williamstown Road died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on May 22, 1947, son of Paul A. and Anna Petrousky Soldato, he graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1965. A member of the International Union of Laborers, he worked for area contractors for 25 years. During the last seven years, he was the primary care-giver for his mother, who died June 5. Mr. Soldato was a communicant of St. Charles' Church. He enjoyed working on cars and with electronics, and playing handball. He leaves a brother, Gordon A. Soldato of Pittsfield. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9 at St. Charles' Church, with the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor, officiating. Following cremation, burial will take place at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. He was predeceased by his father, Paul A. Soldato, who died Dec. 22, 1975.
