Marie A. Labelle

Marie Anna Labelle, 97, of Mary Wade Home, 118 Clinton Ave., New Haven, Conn., formerly of Pittsfield, died yesterday at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. Born in Lake St. Jean, Canada, on May 14, 1904, daughter of Chrisoloff and Claudia Seymour Bouchard, she attended schools in Winooski, Vt. She had resided in New Haven for the past five years and was a longtime resident of Wahconah Street. Mrs. Labelle was employed by the former Elmvale Worsted Co. and Berkshire Medical Center at one time. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and a member of the Pittsfield Seniors. She was predeceased by her husbands, Frank Devino and Lucien Labelle. She leaves a son, Raymond P. Devino of New Haven; a stepdaughter, Theresa A. Sayers of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, June 19, at 11 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. Those planning to attend may meet within the cemetery gate at 10:50. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Notre Dame Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements.
