Pauline E. Flowers, 85, formerly of 169 Kittredge Road and Curtis Manor, died Friday at Craneville Place. Born in Dubois, Pa., on Dec. 17, 1915, daughter of John and Josephine Zelinski Urbanowicz, she attended St. Hedwig's School there. Primarily a homemaker, she spent most of her adult life in the Toledo, Ohio, area before moving to the Berkshires to be near her daughter, Barbara Roth, formerly of Pittsfield and now of Harwich. While in Dalton, she attended St. Agnes' Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Her husband, Stanley C. Flowers, whom she married May 4, 1935, died March 10, 1978. Besides her daughter, she leaves three granddaughters. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday morning at 9 at St. Agnes' Church by the Rev. John A. Koonz, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the St. Agnes' School Scholarship Fund in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME.
