Eileen M. Healey

Eileen M. Healey, 90, of Epoch Assisted Living at Melbourne died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Lee on June 6, 1911, daughter of William H. and Mary McGowen Healey, she moved to Pittsfield in 1916 and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1929. While in high school, she was a basketball player and a member of the first girls' champion basketball team at PHS in 1928. Miss Healey was employed by Katz & Lapointe as a legal secretary, retiring in 1976 after 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church most of her life and, most recently, a communicant of St. Mark's Church. She enjoyed playing golf and was a life member of Wahconah Country Club. She received the Royal Hole in One Award at Wahconah. She leaves several nieces and nephews. If friends desire, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME in her memory.
