Eva S. Morrison

Eva Spadaccini Morrison, 83, of Main Street, formerly of Fairview Terrace, died yesterday at Timberlyn Heights Nursing Home in Great Barrington. Born in Mill River on Nov. 15, 1917, daughter of Charles and Melvina Manachi Spadaccini, she attended local schools. She moved to Sheffield in 1990. Mrs. Morrison was employed as a waitress at Jack's Restaurant and at the Hillside and, since 1974 until her retirement in 1995, at the Flowering Branch Farm. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Church. She enjoyed gardening. Her husband, Richard W. Morrison, died Nov. 12, 1964. She leaves a son, Charles Morrison of Marysville, Wash., and a sister, Ann Crine of New Marlboro. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Church, with the Rev. Frederick Heberle, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family will receive family and friends on Thursday, June 21, from noon to 1 p.m. at HICKEY-ROY FUNERAL HOME. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Massachusetts Audubon Society in care of HICKEY-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
