William F. Ouilette

William F. Ouilette, 72, of 2 Thomas Road died Tuesday at home. Born in Northampton on Dec. 5, 1928, son of Frederick and Eva Meunier Ouilette, he was a 1948 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mr. Ouilette and his wife, the former Margaret E. Gallagher, owned and operated Outdoor Marina for 22 years, retiring in 1995 when they closed the business. He previously worked at GE from 1948 to 1972 and, during that time, he served in the Army for two years. He enjoyed gardening and fishing, including locally and at Lake Ontario, where he won many large trophies. He leaves his wife, whom he married Sept. 14, 1957. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Dery Funeral Home. Mr. Ouilette was predeceased by his brother, Robert Ouilette, who died in July 1990. The DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
