Arlin J. Loehr

Arlin Joseph Loehr, 17, of 1718 Old Route 9 died Sunday afternoon at Berkshire Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunday in Dalton. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 27, 1983, son of Kevin and Danine C. Stevens Loehr, he would have been a senior at Wahconah Regional High School. He was a member of the junior varsity football team and, in his freshman year, of the track team. He also played Babe Ruth baseball. He was employed part time as a cook at Wahconah Country Club. He enjoyed motorcycles. Besides his father, of Pittsfield, and his mother, of Windsor, he leaves a brother, Ryan D. Loehr of Pittsfield; two sisters, Colette Loehr and Monique Ollinger, both of Pittsfield; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Loehr of Dalton, and his maternal grandparents, Arlin and Mildred Stevens of West Cummington. The funeral will be tomorrow at 8:15 from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St., Dalton, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Agnes' Church, with the Rev. John A. Koonz, pastor, and the Rev. Levi Davenport, pastor of Windsor Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will follow in East Windsor Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 4 to 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Squad in care of the funeral home.
