Robert F. Fallon, 74

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Robert Francis Fallon, 74, of West Street died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in New York City on April 22, 1926, son of John and Ellen Moran Fallon, he attended Lenox schools and was a 1942 graduate of Lenox Memorial High School.

He was a World War II Army veteran, 8th Infantry Division, serving from July 12, 1944, until his honorable discharge on July 8, 1946. He served most of that time in the European theater.

Mr. Fallon was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Works in Lenox as a highway planner, retiring in 1988 after 36 years of service.

He was a lifelong communicant of St. Ann's Church.

He leaves his sister, Jane E. Fallon of Lenox.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Robert Francis Fallon will be Thursday morning at 9:15 from ROCHE FUNERAL HOME in Lenox, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Fallon's name may be made to St. Ann's Church in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.

Watching the price is right and Robert from Lenox was on and I try to look up to see if they are still with us but unfortunately he is not but he sounded like a great guy God bless
