Eileen M. Tanguay

Eileen M. Tanguay, 58, of 41 Richmond St. died Tuesday afternoon at the Center for Optimum Care in Pittsfield, where she had been a resident since 1991. Born in Adams on July 2, 1943, daughter of Jessie Mach Pelczynski of Adams and the late Frank Pelczynski, she was a 1961 graduate of the former Adams High School. A homemaker most of her life, she was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for several years. Mrs. Tanguay was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Besides her mother, she leaves two sons, Kenneth Tanguay of Richmond, Va., and Michael Tanguay of Georgetown, Texas; a daughter, Debra Cmerek of Liberty Hill, Texas; a brother, Francis Pelczynski of Adams, and two grandchildren. The funeral take place Friday, July 6, at 9 from the TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will be at a date to be announced in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7. Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, through the funeral home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220.
