Donald F. Cullen Jr., 57, of 18 Depot St. died yesterday at home. Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 7, 1943, son of Donald F. Cullen Sr. and Katherine Maloney Cullen, he was a 1961 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He served in the Army Reserves after high school. Mr. Cullen was a self-employed cabinetmaker and had owned and operated the Village Cabinet Shop for many years. He retired in 1994 because of a disability. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He leaves his wife, the former Julie Chivers Rowan, whom he married Aug. 11, 1962; four sons, Patrick J. Cullen of Tunnel Hill, Ga., James D. Cullen of Georgetown, Cayman Islands, Richard S. Cullen of Pittsfield and John M. Cullen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Michael Cullen of Clearwater, Fla., and three sisters, Kathleen Gennari of Dalton, Susan Odell of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Linda Hunter of Orange Park, Fla. The funeral will be Monday at 2 at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Dalton. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Parkinson's Disease Association Inc., in care of the funeral home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
