Sandra M. Haley

Sandra Marie Haley, 56, of 345 Houghton St. died Saturday in Rural Clear Creek, Colo., after being stricken while traveling to Casper, Wyo. Born in North Adams on Sept. 29, 1944, daughter of Thomas and Josephine DeMarco Greenbush, she attended local schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School. In her younger years, Mrs. Haley was employed by the former Capitol Restaurant on Main Street and later by General Cable Corp. in Pownal, Vt. She was most recently employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. and its successor, Commonwealth Sprague, for more than 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Her husband, David George Haley, whom she married May 15, 1965, died Sept. 27, 1980. She leaves a daughter, Jennifer Jane Haley, at home; a son, Derek Thomas Haley of Adams; a brother, John Joseph Greenbush of North Adams; two grandchildren, and her companion, Wayne Lapine, with whom she made her home. The funeral will be Monday, July 9, at 8:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by services at 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 70 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, July 8, from 5 to 8. Memorial donations are suggested for her grandchildren's education fund.
