Mary Archer

Mary Archer, 83, of Bradford Arms died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Stamford, Conn., on Oct. 4, 1917, daughter of John and Xenia Sanik, she graduated from Stamford High School. Mrs. Archer was employed by the Pittsfield Public School System as a matron at the former Crosby Junior High School for 15 years. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She traveled extensively in Europe for 14 years with her husband, Elton B. "Pete" Archer, who was in the military. Mr. Archer died in 1970. She leaves three sons, John L. Archer of Lakeview, Ore., Ronald R. Archer of Anaheim, Calif., and Allen E. Archer of Hillsdale, N.Y., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are private. The omission of flowers or memorial contributions is requested. DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
