Grace Cardimino

Grace M. Cardimino, 73, of Lake Tarpon, Fla., a native of Adams, died Friday in Woodside Hospice, North Panellas Park., Fla., where she had resided since May. Born in Adams on Dec. 20, 1927, daughter of Leo and Rose Gazaille Baribeau, she attended local schools. She resided in Adams for many years prior to moving to Cheshire. She was employed by General Electric Co. in Pittsfield in the ordnance department and retired in 1989 after 30 years of service. She relocated to Florida in 1990. Mrs. Cardimino was a former communicant of Notre Dame Church in Adams and St. Mary of the Assumption in Cheshire. She enjoyed golfing and traveling. Her husband, Anthony J. Cardimino, whom she married Nov. 22, 1947, in Notre Dame Church, died Nov. 2, 1997. She leaves two sons, Glenn A. Cardimino of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Peter C. Cardimino of Hudson, N.H.; two brothers, Leo E. Baribeau of Palm Harbor and Robert A. Baribeau of Cheshire, and a sister, Helen A. Hamelin of Adams. An inturnment service will be held in Florida following cremation at Bayside National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Her remains will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Anthony Cardimino. The family suggests memorials in her honor to the Woodside Hospice 6770, 102 2nd Ave., North Panellas Park, Fla.
