Laretta M. Czapla

Laretta M. Czapla, 83, of 4 Beech St. died yesterday at home. Born in Adams on Aug. 22, 1917, daughter of William and Emma Norman Brassard, she attended Adams schools. Mrs. Czapla was employed by the Brightwater Paper Co. and its successor, the former Rochester Paper Co., until retiring 20 years ago. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas. Her husband, Harry V. Czapla, whom she married June 29, 1945, died Sept. 17, 1983. She leaves a sister, Lillian Harrington of Cheshire; a grandson, and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by a son, Francis Robinson. Funeral services will be private, with burial in Maple Street Cemetery in Adams. There are no calling hours. The AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Czapla was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Marion Wabnig.
