Jessie Wrzesinski-Brunell

Jessie Barbara Wrzesinski-Brunell, 85, formerly of Main Street, died Tuesday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided for the past two years. Born in Adams on Jan. 3, 1916, daughter of John and Stephanie Zoltek Turoczy, she attended Adams schools. Mrs. Wrzesinski-Brunell was employed as a press operator at Royal Cleaners and Launderers for 13 years. She previously had worked at Elmvale Worsted Mills for several years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Dalton Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo. Her first husband, Stanley C. Wrzesinski, died July 18, 1972. Her husband, Ernest F. Brunell, died April 29, 1990. She leaves two sons, Francis P. DeMar of Pittsfield and Stanley C. Wrzesinski Jr. of Hinsdale; three daughters, Joan Hamel, Josephine Clavette and Mary A. Everett, all of Pittsfield; two sisters, Helen Laston of Hinsdale and Virginia Sagendorph of Pittsfield; 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. Royal J. Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Hinsdale. Calling hours will be held at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to Holy Family Church in care of the funeral home.
