Rita M. McMahon, 81, of 47 Broad St., Westfield, a summer resident of Monterey since 1957, died Tuesday at home. Born in Westfield on May 20, 1920, daughter of Charis and Corinne Dube Marcoullier, she had resided there for many years. She later moved to Venice, Fla., for several years, and had recently returned to Westfield. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Westfield. She leaves her husband of 61 years, James F. McMahon; four sons, Robert J. McMahon of Otis, Wayne T. McMahon of Erlanger, Ky., Ronald W. McMahon of Monterey and Jeffrey S. McMahon of Great Barrington; a daughter, Nancy R. McMahon of Middleboro; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 8 a.m. from FIRTION-ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 76 Broad St., Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church in Westfield at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westfield.
