Judith Ann Farley

Judith Ann Farley, 59, of 22 Meadow Drive died yesterday at home of cancer. Born in Arlington on June 22, 1942, daughter of Virginia Holton Rodriguez Medeiros and the late Benjamin Rodriguez, she moved to Stoughton as a young girl and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1960. She moved to Dalton 38 years ago. Mrs. Farley was employed by Pierce Machine Co. as a secretary. Before that, she was assistant credit manager at the former England's department store and, before her marriage, was employed by Liberty Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Boston. She was active in the PTO in Dalton and was a member of the Boosters Club at Wahconah Regional High School. She and her husband, Richard P. Farley, were married 39 years. Besides her husband and mother, of Hyannis, she leaves her stepfather, Ernest Medeiros Sr. of Hyannis; three sons, Edward J. Farley of Pittsfield, and Brian R. Farley and Todd D. Farley, both of Dalton; three sisters, Gail N. Goulart of Mashpee, Lee DeSa of Taunton and Linda D. Eldridge of Conway, N.H.; three brothers, Raymond Holton of San Francisco, Ernest Medeiros Jr. of Yarmouth and Stephen Medeiros of Fort Myers, Fla., and four grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes' Church, Main Street, Dalton, on Wednesday at 10 by the Rev. John A. Koonz. Visiting hours are omitted. Donations in Judy's memory may be sent to the Judith Farley Scholarship Fund in care of Wahconah Regional High School, Dalton, MA 01226. Arrangements were made by DERY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton. Interment will be in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Rodriguez.
